Rule 18-20 Rulemaking Workshop

The purpose of the workshop is to receive public comments on proposed amendments to Florida Administrative Code Chapter 18-20, entitled Florida Aquatic Preserves, which governs all aquatic preserves with the exception of Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserve. The rule chapter was adopted to ensure that "all sovereignty lands within a preserve shall be managed primarily for the maintenance of essentially natural conditions, the propagation of fish and wildlife, and public recreation including hunting and fishing where deemed appropriate by the Board, and the managing agency."
