Kids and families will "Fly Through July" with Rookery Bay Research Reserve's virtual replacement for Kids Free Friday for the month of July. Starting on July 6th experience new activities each week focusing on birds.

July 13-17 – Song Birds

Families can try a birding challenge and get outside to learn about the birds around them with the website e-bird. A winner will be chosen at random at the end of the week. Also, the little ones will enjoy a pre-recorded video story time and a bird craft including a video "how to demonstration."

On Fridays at 1 p.m., we will host an online naturalist talk with the winner of the bird challenge chosen at the end. This talk is geared toward older elementary aged students, but all are welcome.
