Details: 

At the Solar Cook-Off, teams demonstrate the
performance of their solar cookers by heating an
original dish of food created for the competition.
Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall (Culinary & Design),
with an additional "WOW" Award.

The Solar Energy Cook-Off is a solar cooker competition
sponsored by FPL and hosted by IMAG in partnership
with the FDEP for students in grades K-12.
Working in teams of two to five, students design and build solar cookers to be demonstrated at
the 7th Annual Solar

Energy Cook-Off on December 1st, 2018 at the IMAG.

The overall winner of this event will be invited to participate in
the statewide EnergyWhiz event which will be held at the
Florida Solar Energy Center on May 4, 2019 in Cocoa, Florida .
