Do you enjoy hiking, biking, paddling or horseback riding? The Office of Greenways and Trails  (OGT), within the Division of Recreation & Parks, provides statewide leadership and coordination to establish, expand and promote non-motorized trails that make up the Florida Greenways and Trails System, pursuant to the Florida Greenways and Trails Act (Ch. 260, Florida Statutes). More can be found in this Office Overview.

Outdoor Florida features recreational opportunities across Florida's local, state and federal public lands. By downloading the free Outdoor Florida App or utilizing maps and resources on the Outdoor Florida webpage, you can access a vast pool of information about trails, camping, history, beaches, boating, sports facilities and much more.

Titusville, Malabar, Vilano Beach and Clermont were recently designated as Florida trail towns. Congratulations to these deserving towns!

Unpaved Non-Motorized Trail Guidelines, established by OGT and the Florida Greenways and Trails Council, are now available for downloading online in pdf format. Also, check out the new Trail Design Standards Infogram, 2018 Trail Economic Infogram, and Keys to Establishing and Promoting a Paddling Trail or Blueways System.
