In the final year of the project the SEACAR team will be evaluating existing decision support tools for the integration of these data into existing tools that promote resource management. The type of decision support tool needed will be determined through a collaborative process and may result in an improvement to:
A centralized data management system or network from which monitoring data can be stored or retrieved.
Geospatial models that illustrate habitat change over time or
Tools that facilitate statewide prioritization of restoration and conservation sites.
The Partner Team will provide feedback in data and decision support tool needs. Our overarching goal would be to provide a decision support tool that will assist local, state and regional managers in planning and management. At the end of Year 5, the selected decision support tools will be launched so that it may be incorporated into local and state decision-making processes.
