Once all materials for requesting assistance have been completed, a funding request package can be submitted via FTP following the instructions below.
How to Send Data Files
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is the most popular method for transferring electronic files to a predetermined location. It is designed to transfer files between two computers over the internet. Generally this service is used when files are too large to send as attachments via email; however, it can be used as the standard method for sharing data files. This is a free service available to anyone with an active internet connection.
Accessing the FTP Site
Any of the following methods can be used to access the FTP site for submitting application documents:
Once connected to the FTP site, the application documents can then be copied and pasted or dragged and dropped from the host computer to the FTP server. When all files are added, the FTP window can be closed.
Once files have been uploaded in the incoming folder, please email Beaches_Funding@dep.state.fl.us with notification that application documents have been submitted. The application documents for Beach Management Funding Assistance request will be moved to the appropriate county folder.
Please note, the links below open an ftp folder for that county. Please use IE Explorer or FileZilla (or similar) to access these folders. If the folder is empty, then there are no funding requests submitted for that county at this time.
