Public Meeting For Iff Title V Permit Renewal

The Department of Environmental Protection, Northeast District announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited. GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Department of Environmental Protection gives notice of its public meeting regarding the Title V air operation permit renewal application for IFF Chemical Holdings, Inc., 2051 North Lane Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32254 to operate the International Flavors and Fragrances Jacksonville Site. This permit authorizes the permittee to operate a crude sulfate turpentine processing facility including three steam boilers for the generation of steam, a vapor collection system for collecting the vapors from various process equipment, and the operation of three diesel fuel emergency engines. The facility is located at latitude 30° 20' 52" North, longitude 81° 45' 07" West on 2051 North Lane Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32254 in Duval County. The Department has assigned permit file number 0310071-023-AV to the proposed project. The public will have the opportunity to learn more about International Flavors and Fragrances' permit renewal and submit comments to consider for the Department's proposed permitting decision.
