8200 Southwest 3rd StreetThis facility used aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) on a limited basis ten years ago and presently uses dish soap. AFFF when used, was applied on impervious surfaces and was allowed to evaporate. Approximately 50 persons are trained each year. The facility is served by a municipal water supply system.
Indian River State College Fire Academy is located at:
4600 Kirby Loop RoadThis facility is used for firefighting training programs. During summers, the facility is closed Fridays and Saturdays. The facility is served by a municipal water supply system that provides its drinking water. There are no wells on-site. There are two retention ponds.
Englewood Fire Training Center is located at:
13400 Haligan WayThis facility is used for firefighting training programs. The facility is served by a municipal water supply system that provides its drinking water. There are no wells on-site. There is a retention pond surrounding the northern, western and eastern boundaries of the facility.
