Bacteria BMAPs include management strategies and projects implemented by local stakeholders to eliminate and prevent the release of waste, containing pathogens to natural waterbodies to meet water quality standards. The purpose of the BMAP is to restore the waterbody, protect human health, and sustain safe recreational uses for future generations.
