Our Lands. Our Legacy. I Volunteer
National Public Lands Day is the largest single-day volunteer effort for America’s public lands.
Each year, volunteers across Florida come together on the fourth Saturday in September to assist with a multitude of projects to restore and enhance our public spaces. From trail maintenance to tree planting, volunteers of all ages and abilities roll up their sleeves and work to care for our public spaces. The day also features a variety of fun outdoor activities, all set on the backdrop of America’s public lands and waterways.
This year, National Public Lands Day is Saturday, Sept. 26, but volunteer opportunities are available year-round.
