Basin Management Action Plan Notifications  

Thank you for your interest in the  Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Basin Management Action Plan Program. For Bacteria (pathogen) BMAPs statewide
For waters in the Central Florida region including the Lake Harney, Lake Monroe, Middle St. Johns River, and Smith Canal, Lake Jesup Watershed, Ocklawaha River, Orange Creek and Wekiva River BMAPs.
Indian River Lagoon Basin.
For waters in the Northeast Florida region including the Lower St. Johns BMAP.
For waters in the Northern Everglades region including the Caloosahatchee River and Estuary, Lake Okeechobee, and St. Lucie River and Estuary BMAPs.
For waters in the Northwest Florida region including Apalachicola River, Chipola River, Choctawhatchee Bay, St Andrews Bay, Pensacola and Perdido Bay BMAPs.
For waters in the Southeast Florida region including Lake Worth Lagoon, Palm Beach Coast, Southeast Coast and Biscayne Bay BMAPs.
For waters in the Southwest Florida region including the Everglades West Coast BMAP, Charlotte Harbor Basin, Sarasota River, Peace River, Myakka River and Upper Peace Chain Of Lakes.
For springs BMAPs statewide.


Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Program Notifications

For waterbodies located in the following counties: Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Flagler, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, Suwanee, Taylor and Union.

Northwest

For waterbodies located in the following counties: Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Wakulla, Walton and Washington.

South

For waterbodies located in the following counties: Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Highlands, Lee, Monroe and Sarasota.

Southeast

For waterbodies located in the following counties: Broward, Dade, Martin, Indian River, Okeechobee, Palm Beach and St. Lucie.

Southwest

For waterbodies located in the following counties: Citrus, Hardee, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk.

Updates on basin assessments for waters in the Ochlockonee - St. Marks, Suwannee, Ocklawaha, Tampa Bay, Everglades West Coast and Lake Okeechobee basins.

Group 2 Basin Assessments

Updates on basin assessments for waters in the Apalachicola - Chipola, Lower St. Johns, Middle St. Johns, Tampa Bay Tributaries, Charlotte Harbor and St. Lucie - Loxahatchee basins.

Group 3 Basin Assessments

Updates on basin assessments for waters in the  Choctawhatchee - St. Andrews,  Upper St. Johns, Sarasota Bay – Peace Myakka, Caloosahatchee and Lake Worth Lagoon - Palm Beach Coast basins.

Group 4 Basin Assessments

Updates on basin assessments for waters in the Pensacola, Kissimmee River, Withlacoochee, Southeast Coast - Biscayne Bay and Nassau – St. Mary’s basins.

Group 5 Basin Assessments

Updates on basin assessments for waters in the Perdido, Upper East Coast, Indian River Lagoon, Springs Coast, Florida Keys and Everglades basins.
