The Florida Friendly Best Management Practices for Protection of Water Quality by the Green Industries program, commonly known as the "Green Industries Best Management Practices" was jointly developed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) and the private industries related to landscape maintenance, called the "green industries."
