The Office of Operations manages four distinct program areas:
The Bureau of Design and Construction – full service construction company serving all 175 Florida Parks and DEP’s Coastal Office in major facility and infrastructure renovations and new construction activities.
The Bureau of Operational Services – provides management of the Florida Park Service Citizen Support Organizations, Concessionaire Program, Volunteers, Marketing and Communications, Employee Training and General Administrative Services.
The Bureau of State Owned Lands Inventory – responsible for the development and management of the legislatively mandated Florida State Owned Lands and Record Information System (FL-SOLARIS) in addition to new enterprise system development such as the Land Management Plan module and the Board of Trustees Land Document System Refresh.
Land and Recreation Grants Program – administers four local, state and federal grant programs that provide funding for land acquisition and development for public outdoor recreational uses, such as parks, open spaces, trails and working waterfronts.
