US-1This facility uses aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) on a limited basis twice each year. The foam is applied on both the ground and on impervious surfaces. Water from the impervious surfaces flows into an on-site retention pond. Approximately 20 persons are trained each session. The facility is served by a municipal water supply system. Less than 100 gallons of AFFF is stored on-site.

Soil, sediment, surface water and groundwater samples were collected for per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) analyses. It is unsure whether this facility ever used firefighting aqueous film forming foam (AFFF). It may have been used fifteen to twenty years ago. The facility is served by a municipal water supply system.

3180 NW 119th StreetThis facility uses aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) on a weekly basis which is stored on-site. The facility has 70 employees and trains in excess of 300 personnel each year. The AFFF is applied on concrete and run-off is collected by a drain system. Drinking water to the facility is provided by the local municipality.
