Resilience and Coastal Protection Forum 2020

Since 2016, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection has hosted the Florida Coastal Management Program Annual Meeting in locations around the state, bringing together stakeholders and partners, broadening awareness of FCMP activities and strengthening partnerships. In 2019, DEP also began offering the Resilient Florida Workshop to provide technical expertise to local government partners around the topic of coastal resilience.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has received the subgrant application for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s CAMA South Beach Boardwalk (ADA) repairs due to damages in Hurricane Irma (DR-4337-FL PW 05939). Pursuant to Executive Order 11988 and 44 CFR Part 9.12, final notice is hereby given of FEMA’s intent to provide funding for this project under the Public Assistance (PA) Program.
