The Florida Environmental Regulation Commission (ERC) is a non-salaried, seven-member board created by the Legislature as a part of the Department of Environmental Protection. The ERC members are selected by the governor and are representative of agriculture, the development industry, local government, the environmental community, residents, and members of the scientific and technical community who have substantial expertise in the areas of the fate and transport of water pollutants, toxicology, epidemiology, geology, biology, environmental sciences, or engineering.
The Department of Environmental Protection has complied with the requirement in section 120.74, F.S., and is cooperating with the Office of Fiscal Accountability and Regulatory Reform and the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee in conducting a review of agency rules. Results of this rule.
