GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: To obtain public comments on the draft injection well permit for Florida Keys Resort RO, who applied on April 4, 2017, for a permit to operate an injection well (File No. 0352748-001-UO/5O, WACS 103551). The project is located at the Florida Keys Resort, 4000 Sombrero Boulevard, Marathon, Florida 33050, and will consist of one Class V injection well with the casing is cemented to a depth of 62 feet below land surface (bls) with an open hole injection depth to 97 feet bls. The injection well will dispose of up to approximately 0.28 million gallons per day into the saline Key Largo Limestone formation.
During the public comment period provided in Rule 62-528.315, F.A.C., any interested person may submit written comments on the draft permit. All comments shall be considered in making the final decision and shall be answered as provided in Rule 62-528.330, F.A.C.
