OCULUS is the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) used by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to store documents. The Oil and Gas Program provides public access to permit information, inspection reports, well logs, and many other important documents for each well in the state.
Permits issued for all wells in the state have an associated Permit Number, which is needed in order to search in OCULUS. The Oil and Gas Permit Numbers can be found on the Oil and Gas Permit Database. Visit OCULUS and follow our Guide to Oculus for steps on how to use the system. If there are any further questions about using OCULUS, please contact a representative of the Oil and Gas Program on our Contacts page.
