Public Land Acquisition and Management Partnership (PLAM) - Rooted in Our Future

In the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Public Land Acquisition and Management (PLAM) Conference scheduled for Nov. 14-16, 2022, in Punta Gorda, Florida.

If you registered for this conference, we will begin refunding registrations and sponsorships for the next week to two weeks. Once processed, it will take 3 – 4 days for the refund to process back onto the original form of payment. If you have questions regarding this matter, please email Steven Bonda at  Steven@BondaExperiences.com

If you made your hotel room reservation at the Four Points by Sheraton Punta Gorda Harborside or the Springhill Suites Punta Gorda/Harborside, they will be canceling your reservation.  For rooms booked at the other hotels, cancel your reservation with the hotel directly.

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is committed to aiding communities impacted by Hurricane Ian. For those of you who have been personally affected, we stand strong with you as well as the many first responders and volunteers helping our state recover.

Florida is home to more than 4 million acres of conservation land. Most of these lands are open to the public for recreation, and nearly all require some form of stewardship. The Division of State Lands leases these lands to state agencies and local governments to manage.
