Dr. Todd Osborne and Michael Sullivan will be partnering in this lecture to discuss shellfish and water quality. Dr. Osborne is a researcher at the University of Florida's Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience in Marineland, Florida. He will focus on his collaborative projects with the GTM Research Reserve, shellfish ecology and the relationship between shellfish and water quality. Mr. Sullivan serves on GTM Research Reserve's Oyster and Water Quality Task Force. He will be participating in GTM's 2021 Adventures in the Estuary shellfish-themed Research Camp. Sullivan will elaborate on his conservation work with shellfish and ongoing partnership with Dr. Osborne. This event is part of GTM's virtual lecture series.
