Orange Creek Basin Management Action Plan Meeting

An Orange Creek Basin Management Action Plan meeting will be held on October 25 in Gainesville. This meeting is open to the public.  Water quality improvement project updates for Newnans Lake and Lake Wauberg will be discussed at the meeting. The proposed loading reductions for Lochloosa Lake will be presented. The second phase Orange Creek Basin Management Action Plan was adopted in July 2014. The plan addresses bacterial impairments in urban streams and nutrient impairment in Newnans Lake, Orange Lake, Lochloosa Lake, and Lake Wauberg.
