FRDAP staff hosted a webinar for grantees on January 18, 2024, to provide technical assistance regarding the requirements and process for project completion and project reimbursement. The goal of this workshop was to review the project completion checklist and ensure that all grantees successfully complete the closeout process and receive reimbursement for their approved projects.

A reimbursement request may be placed for allowable expenses pursuant to the project agreement upon the successful completion of the project scope of work. Reimbursement may not exceed the grant award amount. Payment(s) will not be made for unsatisfactory or incomplete work. A final payment request should be submitted to the Department no later than the completion date in the agreement or 60 days prior to the expiration date of the Agreement to ensure availability of funds for payment.

Once a site is developed with FRDAP funds, the land is placed under restrictive covenants for a minimum of 25 years for leased land and in perpetuity for grantee owned land. In accordance with the notice of limitation of use and FRDAP program rules, the project site must be managed and maintained in a safe and attractive manner for the use and benefit of the general public.
