The draft plan proposes 24 projects for funding with an estimated cost of $62 million. The projects are located across the Florida's Gulf Coast west from the Perdido River down to Charlotte Harbor. The 24 projects include four to improve habitats and species on Gulf Island National Seashore and St. Vincent Island National Wildlife Refuge. The plans includes a diverse suite of eleven water quality projects, from traditional stormwater control measures, sediment reduction projects, small and large scale hydrologic restoration activities, agriculture best management practices, along with septic to sewer and reclaimed wastewater projects. There are also nine recreational use projects, including walking, biking, and paddle trails, a new local park, and enhancements to existing State and Federal parks.
