Expanded Local Hazardous Waste Management Grants

Grants to provide startup costs incurred by county governments to establish the expanded local hazardous waste management program, including training for personnel, material and equipment necessary for education, compliance activities, and program administration. The costs of administration are not to exceed 10 percent of the county's grant award. The maximum amount of the grant award is $50,000. Additionally, Grantee must meet requirements as specified in s. 403.7238, F.S.  Applications are accepted preferably before July 1.
