Join us for a free community event bringing scientists and members of the public together, where attendees will walk away with a greater understanding of and appreciation for Florida's coastal, marine and estuarine resources. Engage with scientists working to preserve and protect Florida's coral reefs, seagrass beds, oyster reefs and coastal wetlands. Gain knowledge to find, understand and assess the environmental conditions in your own backyard. Experience hands-on educational activities connecting data to regional ecology and cultivating skills to communicate science in a compelling way. Learn more about Florida's Statewide Ecosystem Assessment of Coastal and Aquatic Resources. Whether you're an educator, outdoor enthusiast, citizen science collaborator, local stakeholder or a lover of Florida ecosystems — this event is for you! The event will be located at Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. A Public Seminar will occur from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
