Registered equipment must be renewed every five years. The Department does not specifically endorse any particular manufacturer, nor is responsible for any failure or malfunction of the product or equipment. It is the responsibility of the tank owner to verify that the materials of storage tank systems and their components are compatible with the regulated substance stored in the tank system. All installed storage tank system equipment containing blends of ethanol, biodiesel, or other biofuels and additives shall be compatible with the regulated substances stored in the storage tank systems. Buyers must ensure the compatibility of the equipment to the installation location and that it is installed pursuant to the manufacturer's instructions by appropriately trained personnel.
