The Acquisition and Restoration Council (ARC) received 11 project proposals for Florida Forever 2025 Cycle 2. On June 13, 2025, ARC voted to move all 11 proposals on for more detailed review. Section 259.07, Florida Statutes, requires ARC to hold public meetings to take testimony on new Florida Forever proposals "in such areas of the state where the major portions of such lands are situated."
