The Acquisition and Restoration Council (ARC) has scheduled two regional meetings to take in-person public testimony on the Florida Forever 2026 Cycle 1 project proposals. On December 12, 2025, ARC voted to move these proposals on for more detailed review. Chapter 259, Florida Statutes, requires ARC to hold public meetings to take testimony on new Florida Forever proposals "in such areas of the state where the major portions of such lands are situated."
