The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will begin accepting project proposals for the Stan Mayfield Working Waterfronts Capital Outlay Grant Program.
Applications must be submitted through DEP's Grants Portal.
The Stan Mayfield Working Waterfronts Capital Outlay Grant Program supports Florida's commercial fishing and marine aquaculture industries by funding infrastructure for seafood harvesting, processing and distribution. Eligible applicants include marine aquaculture facilities and holders of commercial saltwater product, wholesale dealer or retailer licenses, as well as seafood houses. Applicants must demonstrate a benefit to the local economy.
To assist applicants, DEP's Division of State Lands will host an informational webinar. The webinar will provide an overview of program eligibility and the application process.
