4th Saturday Paddle with the Apalachicola Riverkeeper on an Apalachicola River tributary or the river itself. Kayaks available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations, call 850-653-8936 or contact by email. Free to members; $30 for nonmembers (which entitles one to a one-year membership).
Guided Nature Tours, Nov. to April 27, 2018, 9:30-11:30 a.m., Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center, Naples, FL. Experienced guides and naturalists provide boat and kayak tours to explore bays and mangrove tunnels.
1-3: Adventure Cycling's third annual Bike Travel Weekend. Plan or join a bikepacking trip to a local campground or other destination and register your adventure online.
2:Tour de Melon. Rides of various lengths along the Nature Coast Trail and through surrounding communities.
20-21: Save the Date! Gainesville Cycling Festival.
25-28:16th Annual Florida Paddlers' Rendezvous in the Blackwater River State Forest. Several paddling trips in the region with a limit of 25 paddlers per trip. Paddling clubs and individuals from around the state and beyond will be participating.
