The Florida Coastal Management Program (FCMP) plans to host a series of information sessions for the Coastal Partnership Initiaitive (CPI) and other funding opportunities available exclusiviely through the coastal management programs. The CPI grants, offered by the FCMP utilizing federal Coastal Zone Management Act funding, are an opportunity for coastal communities, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies to secure funding for projects that promote the conservation, restoration, and sustainable management of Florida's invaluable coastal resources. These sessions aim to provide interested organizations and individuals with comprehensive details about the grant program, its objectives, eligibility criteria, and application process. Technical assistance from grant staff will also be available. Sessions will be held around the state in June and July, 2024, with the first session planned for June 17 at the DEP NED office in Jacksonville. Subsequent sessions will be held in DEP and state park offices. Presentation link: https://floridadep.sharepoint.com/:p:/g/fco/adminsupport/EdUXyGMJdAlGmz…
