Public Meeting - Gulf Power/crist Draft Renewal Permit

The Department of Environmental Protection announces an open house public meeting to which all persons are invited. During this open house public meeting, representatives from both the Department and Gulf Power Company will be available to answer questions and provide information about the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System draft renewal permit for Gulf Power Company James F. Crist Generating Plant (FL0002275-018-IW1S) located at 11999 Pate Street, Pensacola, FL 32514. Oral and written public comments will be taken at the meeting.
The Department gave notice of its preparation of a draft permit to Gulf Power Company on June 1, 2018 and a Notice of Draft Permit was published in the Pensacola News Journal on June 7, 2018.
The public comment period on the proposed draft permit will run until the close of the public meeting. Attendees will be able to submit oral or written comments and data regarding the Department's proposed action during the meeting. The Department will review and consider all comments received before taking final agency action.
