Master Deadhead Logging Certification Training

Master Deadhead Logger Certification Class 

The Northwest District of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is hosting a free master deadhead logging certification class. This certification class is a requirement before participants can apply for the necessary environmental resource permits for these activities.

The Northwest District invites deadhead logging applicants, permitted loggers, crew members and other interested parties to learn about the deadhead logging application process and what information is required; the regulations that govern logging activity; and the history behind Florida's logging industry.

Date: Wednesday, October 23, 2024, 9:00 a.m to 1 p.m. CST 

Where: DEP's Northwest District Office, 160 W. Government St, Suite 502, Pensacola, FL 32502 or attend virtually through teams.

The class is offered in person as well as virtually via Microsoft Teams. A link will be provided for virtual participants following registration (Register Here).
