On May 27, 2020, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection submitted, to the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency, a pre-hearing proposed revision to Florida's previously-submitted 111(d) State Plan for Commercial and Industrial Solid Waste Incineration Units (CISWI), to provide for an equivalent production-based particulate matter emission limit for units in the waste-burning kiln subcategory.
