Monitoring Plan
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (Department) is proposing a revision to Florida’s State Implementation Plan (SIP) under the federal Clean Air Act (CAA). Pursuant to the requirements of sections 169A and 169B of the CAA, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) implementing regulations at 40 CFR 51.308, the Department has developed this Regional Haze Plan for approval by EPA as a revision to Florida’s SIP. The proposed SIP revision represents commitments and enforceable actions taken by the state addressing the requirements of these regulations during the second implementation period from 2019 to 2028, towards the goal of attaining natural visibility conditions in Florida’s designated federal Class I areas.
