The Division of Water Restoration Assistance provides funding assistance for projects that improve the quality and quantity of the state’s water resources. The division works closely with the water management districts, local governments and other stakeholders to identify and implement springs projects that achieve restoration goals.
Public comment on these projects is welcome and encouraged. All public comments must be submitted by completing the Springs Public Comment Form and must be submitted no later than June 30, 2020. The comment form itself is limited to 250 words, however, separate comment documents may also be attached. Once final project selections are made, they will be posted on this page.
A virtual meeting to review the proposed projects will be held on June 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. (EST). To receive an invitation to the meeting, please send a request to SpringsFunding@FloridaDEP.gov.
