There are two active and two inactive heavy minerals mines in Florida. The heavy minerals mines are between approximately 5,000 and 10,000 acres in size.
There are 10 fuller’s earth mines in Florida. The fuller’s earth mines in Florida range from approximately 100-200 acres in size.
