1565 Lane Park CutoffThis facility has been operational since 1995 and is utilized for day use only training exercises. Firefighting aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) was reportedly used on property until 3 to 5 years ago. The facility is served by a municipal water supply system.
The Melbourne Fire Training Facility is located at:
1980 Hughes RoadThis facility used aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) on a limited basis as a demonstration to new recruits once or twice each year. The foam was applied within two areas located in proximity to the burn tower. The facility is served by a municipal water supply system.
The Pasco County Fire Rescue Training Center is located at:
15910 Little Ranch RoadThis facility is utilized only for day use training exercises. It is served by a municipal water supply system that provides its drinking water. The facility does have one onsite potable well that has not been used for 20 years as a source of drinking water.
