On May 21, 2026, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a proposed partial approval to Florida's State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the revisions to Chapter 62-210, F.A.C. (91 FR 29924) (FL-176) Emissions Reporting Requirements and Permitting Forms.
On July 7, 2025, EPA published a final partial approval to Florida's SIP for the revisions to Chapter 62-210, F.A.C., (90 FR 29745) (FL-174) removal of CAIR provisions.
On March 28, 2025, EPA, published a proposed a partial approval to Florida's SIP for the revisions to Chapter 62-210, F.A.C., (90 FR 14059) (FL-174) removal of CAIR provisions.
On February 25, 2025, DEP submitted a withdrawal of specified provisions in Florida’s Proposed Revision to Florida’s State Implementation Plan – Florida SIP 2023-01, Chapter 62-210, F.A.C., Stationary Sources – General Requirements Rule Amendments (FL-177).
EPA is in the process of evaluating Florida’s proposed updates to Rule 62-210.550, F.A.C., as a component of FL-177. After further analysis of the provisions of Rule 62-210.550, F.A.C., as currently adopted into Florida’s SIP, the Department has determined that further consideration could lead to a more effective approach to revising this component of Chapter 62-210, F.A.C. (“Air Pollution Control – General Provisions), within Florida’s SIP.
On August 15, 2023, Florida submitted the Final Proposed SIP revision for Chapter 62-210, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.) to EPA.
DEP has requested that EPA revise Florida's SIP to include revisions to Chapter 62-210, F.A.C. This proposed SIP revision consists of the removal of outdated or superseded F.A.C. requirements and includes the required CAA Section 110(l) noninterference demonstration. The proposed SIP revision incorporates amendments to F.A.C. rules to make Florida’s SIP consistent with current state rules. EPA incorporates F.A.C. rules into Florida’s SIP on a rule-by-rule basis according to their state-established effective dates. The rule language that DEP is requesting be removed from, or amended within, Florida’s SIP is contained in Chapter 62-210, F.A.C., Stationary Sources – General Requirements.
