Pursuant to 40 CFR 51, the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) submitted the final version of the Maintenance Plan for the Hillsborough County Lead Maintenance Area to EPA on September 30, 2026.
Final SIP Submittal - Florida's Lead Maintenance Plan for Hillsborough County
Pursuant to 40 CFR 51.102, DEP announced a public hearing, if requested, and opportunity to offer comments on a proposed revision to Florida’s State Implementation Plan (SIP) under the Clean Air Act (CAA). This SIP submittal proposes to revise Florida’s Maintenance Plan for the Hillsborough County Pb Maintenance Area to extend until 2038 the federally approved Maintenance Plan provisions for the EnviroFocus Technologies, LLC, facility in Tampa, Florida.
The Pre-hearing SIP Revision Request is included below and well as the notice published on 7/1/2026 in the Florida Administrative Reader (FAR). No hearing was requested and none was held. No comments were received on the Pre-hearing Draft.
