Management Plan Amendments

A management plan may be amended anytime that a managing agency wishes to add a previously unapproved land use or management activity.

Negative Response Requests

Management Plan Amendments are posted on Thursdays for a two-week review period, except for State or Federal holidays. At the request of three or more ARC members, items on negative response may be placed on the next ARC agenda for review. Absent this request, the items are approved by delegated authority to the Division of State Lands.

Amendments Under Review

Heguenot Park: Access Road Relocation
The City of Jacksonville has submitted an amendment to the Huguenot Park management plan (Lease No. 4790). The City is requesting approval to realign approximately 750 linear feet of paved access road landward of an erosion-prone area at the park. The following link contains information about the request, including pictures, maps, agency review letters, and public meeting results.
 
 
The Division of State Lands will approve this management plan amendment unless three ARC members ask we plan the request on a future Council meeting agenda. The deadline for ARC members to make this request is November 14, 2024.
