Management Plan Amendments

A management plan may be amended anytime that a managing agency wishes to add a previously unapproved land use or management activity.

Negative Response Requests

Management Plan Amendments are posted on Thursdays for a two-week review period, except for State or Federal holidays. At the request of three or more ARC members, items on negative response may be placed on the next ARC agenda for review. Absent this request, the items are approved by delegated authority to the Division of State Lands.

Amendments Under Review

Tequesta Park Management Plan Amendment

The Village of Tequesta has submitted an amendment to the approved Tequesta Park management plan. The Village is proposing to remove three existing structures (caretaker's residence, public works storage building, and storage shed) and construct an improved maintenance building in their place. Tequesta Park Amendment: New Maintenance Building

The Division of State Lands will approve this management plan amendment unless three ARC members request the Division place the document on a future Council meeting agenda.
