Management Plans
Land management plans for properties 160 acres or less must meet the same requirements as properties greater than 160 acres with the exception that they are not required to be developed with input from an advisory group. These plans are submitted to the council for review and recommendations.
Current Requests Under Review:
Nocatee Point: St. Johns County (Trustees' Lease No. 4886)
St. Johns County has submitted a management plan for Nocatee Point. The 58-acre park is located north of the City of St. Augustine on the Tolomato River and is adjacent to St. Johns County's Nocatee Preserve. Recreational use includes fishing, hiking, and horseback riding. The below link includes the complete plan:

The Division of State Lands will approve this management plan unless three or more Acquisition and Restoration Council members request the Division plan the document on a future Council meeting agenda. Bert Maxwell Boat Ramp: City of Jacksonville (Trustees' Lease No. 4000)
The City of Jacksonville has submitted a management plan for Bert Maxwell Boat Ramp. The area contains 4.7 acres of which 0.34 acres are State-owned. The park is located on the Trout River and contains boat ramps, parking area, restrooms, a picnic shelter, and fishing pier. The below link includes the complete plan:

Brian D. Archer Wilderness Preserve: City of Parkland (Trustees' Lease No. 4756)
The City of Parkland has submitted a management plan for the Brian D. Archer Wilderness Preserve. The 6.08-acre Preserve contains a nature tail and boardwalk providing open space within an urban area. The below link includes the complete plan:
