Management Plans and Plan Amendments
Land management plans for properties 160 acres or less must meet the same requirements as properties greater than 160 acres with the exception that they are not required to be developed with input from an advisory group. These plans are submitted to the council for review and recommendations.

Southport Regional Park

Osceola County has submitted an update to the Southport Regional Park management plan (Trustees' Lease No. 2881). The 35-acre park is located on Lake Tohopekaliga and provides a boat ramp, picnic areas, volleyball court, and camping. A copy of the complete management plan can be found at this link:

The Division of State Lands will approve this management plan unless three ARC members request the Division place the document on future ARC agenda. The deadline for ARC members to make this request is October 30, 2025
