Management Plans
Land management plans for properties 160 acres or less must meet the same requirements as properties greater than 160 acres with the exception that they are not required to be developed with input from an advisory group. These plans are submitted to the council for review and recommendations.
Current Requests Under Review:
Chauncy Howard Park: City of Venice (Trustees' Lease No. 4019)
The City of Venice has submitted a management plan for Chauncy Howard Park. The 0.65-acre beach access site contains a boardwalk, shower, and benches. The below link includes the complete plan:

The Division of State Lands will approve this management plan unless three or more Acquisition and Restoration Council members request the Division place the document on a future Council meeting agenda. Katie Pierola Sunset Park: City of Bradenton Beach (Trustees' Lease No. 4045)
The City of Bradenton Beach has submitted a management plan for Katie Pierola Sunset Park. The 0.46-acre beach access site contains a shade structure, interpretive signs, and benches. The below link includes the complete plan:
