Negative Response Review - Incompatible Use Requests

The Bureau of Public Land Administration manages the application process and coordinates review and approval with the Office of Environmental Services and the ARC. For more information you may visit the Bureau of Public Land Administration page or call the Division of State Lands at 850-245-2555. 

Incompatible use requests are posted on Thursdays for a two-week review period, except for State or Federal holidays. At the request of three or more ARC members, items on negative response may be placed on the next ARC agenda for review. Absent this request, the items are approved by delegated authority to the Division of State Lands.

WANRack, LLC, has submitted a request for a 0.054-acre utility easement on a portion of the Withlacoochee State Trail (Lease No. 3876). WANRack requires the easement to install a fiber optic cable as part of an ongoing telecommunications project, and will do so via directional drilling. The Division of State Lands will issue this easement unless at least three ARC members ask the Division place the request on a future Council meeting agenda. The deadline for ARC members to make this request is August 1, 2024.
