Application Review and Approval Process

The Bureau of Public Land Administration manages the application process and coordinates review and approval with the Office of Environmental Services and the ARC. For more information you may visit the Bureau of Public Land Administration page or call the Division of State Lands at 850-245-2555. 

Negative Response Requests

Incompatible use requests are posted for a two-week review period, except for State or Federal holidays. At the request of three or more ARC members, items on negative response may be placed on the next ARC agenda for review. Absent this request, the items are approved by delegated authority to the Division of State Lands.

Items Under Review:

Easement No. 33676 Amendment Request: Goethe State Forest

The Division of State Lands has received a request to amend an existing 0.77-acre Trustees' easement located on Goethe State Forest. The Florida Forest Service has asked to amend Trustees' Easement No. 33676 to 1) relocate the easement and 2) include underground utilities. The Division will issue the amended easement unless three ARC members ask the Division to place the request on an upcoming Council meeting agenda. The deadline for ARC members to make this request is November 13, 2025.
