CCCL Dune Planting Recommendations

These recommendations offer best management practices for planting sea oats and other beach-dune plants in Florida’s pioneer beach and frontal dune zones seaward of a state coastal construction control line (CCCL). The recommended planting practices described in this document do not cover regulated dune restoration activities that need a permit such as placement of sand fill, sand fence installation, installation of temporary or permanent irrigation systems or the construction of protective rope and post barriers or other structures.
