The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is hosting a meeting of the Biscayne Bay Commission on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Members of the public are invited to participate in person and online. The Biscayne Bay Commission is composed of state and local stakeholders tasked with strengthening ongoing efforts to protect the bay. At this meeting the commission will hear an update on Miami-Dade County's draft Reasonable Assurance Plan (RAP) for Biscayne Bay and work being conducted in the RAP's proposed focus area to address sources of nutrients. Members of the public and stakeholders are invited to participate and provide public comment. Registration for the virtual meeting is currently open. The registration link and meeting agenda can be found on ProtectingFloridaTogether.gov. Public comment will be accepted during the meeting and can be submitted via email to BBCommission@FloridaDEP.gov. This meeting will be broadcast by the Florida Channel.
