The Resilient Florida Program includes a selection of grants that are available to counties, municipalities, special districts with specific responsibilities and regional resilience entities. To effectively address the impacts of flooding and sea level rise that the state faces, eligible applicants may receive funding assistance to analyze and plan for vulnerabilities, as well as implement projects for adaptation and mitigation.
The Resilient Florida Program will be hosting virtual office hours throughout May and June to provide assistance to current grantees that have grant agreements funded with the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF).
Grants staff will be available to answer questions related to your federally-funded grant, such as quarterly progress reports (Exhibit A), deliverables, site visits, payment requests (Exhibit C), and federal funding deadlines and requirements. Grantees are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to have project-specific questions answered and to connect with the Grants team!
Note: Grantees with state-funded grants may attend as well, but the Program is prioritizing assistance for the grantees with ARPA-funded grants due to the federal funding deadlines of 2026 for project completion, reimbursement, and grant closeout.
