This page provides links to view notices of receipt of applications for selected* Environmental Resource Permits under review by DEP. The majority of such applications and notices are reviewed in the six DEP regulatory district offices; applications and notices for mitigation banks, most mining-related projects, and many projects associated with deepwater port facilities are reviewed at DEP’s main office in Tallahassee.
A wetland enhancement, restoration, creation and/or preservation project that serves to offset unavoidable wetland impacts is known as wetland mitigation or compensatory mitigation. The ecological benefits of a mitigation project should compensate for the functional loss resulting from the permitted wetland impact.

The following is designed to provide information for persons to become a Professional Mangrove Trimmer (PMT) under the 1996 Mangrove Trimming and Preservation Act [Sections 403.9321-403.9334 of the Florida Statutes (F.S.)].
