Public Workshop: Chapters 62-600, 62-604, & 62-620, F.a.c.

This is a public workshop to take comments on draft amendments to Chapters 62-600, 604, and 620, F.A.C. The draft amendments address collection systems-related provisions of Chapter 2020-150, Laws of Florida (Florida Clean Waterways Act). The Department is proposing amendments to Chapter 62-604, F.A.C., entitled Collection Systems and Transmission Facilities, to update provisions, streamline processes, improve domestic wastewater collection and transmission, and implement the relevant requirements of Florida's Clean Water Ways Act (Chapter 2020-150, Laws of Florida). The Department is proposing amendments to Rule 62-620.610, F.A.C., to revise the general condition for reporting noncompliance such as sanitary sewer overflows, spills, and unauthorized discharges, including the incorporation of public notification of pollution provisions of Section 403.077, Florida Statutes. The Department is proposing amendments to Chapter 62-600, F.A.C., to update provisions as well as implement the relevant provisions of Florida's Clean Waterways Act (Chapter 2020-150, Laws of Florida).
