DEP is canceling the virtual hearing previously scheduled for May 25, 2023, 2:00pm-5:00pm. This hearing was originally scheduled to be held on May 3, 2022. It was subsequently rescheduled to July 21, 2022, then Dec. 8, 2022, then Jan. 12, 2023.
This virtual public hearing was noticed in the Florida Administrative Register, Volume 48, Number 249, on December 27, 2022. The hearing will not be rescheduled to a later date. Notice of Withdrawal was published on May 11, 2023, regarding the proposed revisions to Chapter 62-610, F.A.C., entitled, "Reuse of Reclaimed Water and Land Application," published in the Florida Administrative Register, Volume 47, Number 206, on Oct. 22, 2021. DEP will be publishing a new Notice of Rule Development for proposed amendments to Chapter 62-610, F.A.C., along with the related rule development for a new Chapter 62-565, F.A.C., in an upcoming volume of the Florida Administrative Register. This Notice of Rule Development will include consideration of the recommendations of the Potable Reuse Commission’s 2020 report “Advancing Potable Reuse in Florida: Framework for the Implementation of Potable Reuse in Florida” as required by Florida’s Clean Waterways Act of 2020.
Although the hearing has been canceled, rulemaking materials will be posted as they become available on the webpage below.
