DEP is hosting a rule development workshop to which all persons are invited. This rule development workshop will allow DEP to discuss and receive public input on the draft amendments to Chapter 62-6, F.A.C., Standards for Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal Systems. These revisions will streamline requirements for submitting certain permit applications, and address installation, location and abandonment of onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems (OSTDS), construction standards for treatment receptacles, septic tank and master septic tank contractor registrations, registration certificate renewals, discipline and penalties for registered persons, certification of partnerships and corporations as septic tank contracting businesses, and fees for OSTDS related services and registrations.
In-person workshop attendees will be hosted at the physical address listed above; the workshop will also be conducted virtually via GoToWebinar. Copies of meeting materials will be made available on the webpage below.
